Over three hundred 'selectable' works by the most famous Italian and French artists of the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. There are about ten catalogues published by foundations and public bodies that extol their quality. Paintings used several times to illustrate important scientific, zoological, naturalistic texts and also postcards or calendars. The exhibition extols the various styles and different techniques of working with oil paint, tempera, pastel and pencil or ink line drawing.

It is possible, through the paintings, to exhibit and select all the most typical European wild fauna species and also many domestic species. The exhibition is equipped with functional modular metal grids that allow the creation of exhibition paths and walls.

Due to its undoubted importance, environments equipped with alarm systems and specific insurance coverage are required.
