• The first national headquarters of ARCA and the first civic museum that the association supported and supported in many activities was, from 1982 to 1985, the Civic Museum of Natural History of Salento in Calimera (LE). In 1982, ARCA also founded and financed the first wildlife recovery center and for sea turtles and cetaceans for the Puglia Region. In the following years, it established the first sea turtle center of Basilicata in Policoro (MT) and of Sicily in collaboration with the University of Messina Faculty of Zoology in Ganzirri (ME)

Also in the province of Ferrara, ARCA gave a decisive contribution together with the well-known ornithologist Fabio Perco, to the Provincial Stork Center in the Oasi delle Vallette in Ostellato. To this must be added the start and implementation of numerous other reintroduction or repopulation projects such as the Grey or Wild Goose Project. In this period, numerous recovery centers and training courses were organized by ARCA throughout the province.

  • From 2002 to 2025 ARCA founded and managed the Civic Museum of Natural History of Jesolo (VE), raising the aforementioned structure to a national level for activities and visitor attendance.
